in general:
-i survived student teaching, and graduate school, and have earned my masters' degree in education. i'm proud of myself, because to say that there were "some obstacles" would be putting it mildly. this past year makes the ten plagues look pretty tame.
-i am doing SO much better, after dealing with serious physical and emotional difficulties while in grad school. I gained back the weight i lost and am feeling strong.
-i have a job! starting in september, i'll be teaching 6th-graders at a private school in morristown, NJ.
-i like being back home and, socially, things are good.
-there's a lot to do before the school year starts!
